Version 2 of Max Richter's RECOMPOSED featuring new artwork in a stunning package, brand new remixes, SHADOWS and the film that was shot in
    Berlin.

    SHADOWS: electronic soundscapes

The album features 5 new tracks, so called "shadows which are electronic landscapes that were made for a live performance of the work with
accompanying visual material made by the Danish game designers DarkMatters. He and Max developed these pieces to intercut with the written
orchestral material, and to illuminate the abstract visual world of the images.

    Cello Concertos

The greatest cellist of modern time -- well, who could argue with a statement like that? After all, Mstislav Rostropovich is a supreme virtuoso, a charismatic performer, and a sublime interpreter and virtually every one of his recordings is as good as it gets for the repertoire. The key word, of course, is virtually: while Rostropovich's Dvorák concerto with Karajan, his Beethoven sonatas with Richter, his Brahms sonatas with Serkin, and above all his Shostakovich sonata with Shostakovich are definitive, can one say the same of his Boccherini, Vivaldi, and Tartini concertos with Paul Sacher? Or could one say that Rostropovich does not so much play the music of the great Italian Baroque composers as overwhelm it, that his virtuosity, his charisma, and his interpretations are more than the music can bear and that the listener is left not with fond memories of the music but instead with the overpowering impression of an unstoppable musical personality having his way with the music. The results are initially awe-inspiring but may ultimately prove to some to be empty. Accompanied -- the more appropriate word might be enabled -- by Sacher and the Collegium Musicum ZÜrich, the greatest cellist of modern times came, saw, and conquered the finest cello concertos of Baroque times. Whether that's a good thing or not is up to the listener.

    Vivaldi: Concertos

In the 18th century, long before any quota agreement or gender studies had taken place, a major part of Venice's musical life lay in the hands of four local orphanages for girls. In 1703, Vivaldi took on the position as conductor, violinist and composer at one of these homes, the Ospedale della Pietà. There he wrote works that are among the very best in music literature due to their inventiveness and artistic demands upon the musicians. As such, one can well imagine just how extraordinarily talented the young girls were. A notion of the fine compositions that floated through the city of canals 300 years ago is given by the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra in a selection taken from a collection of 12 violin concertos known as L'estro armonico, op. 3. The animated dialogue among the strings takes place on several levels: for example, the leading parts not only concertise with and against one another but also after one another, so that the characteristic art of performance of each individual soloist is clearly to be discerned.

And because no one knows how Vivaldi's girl orchestra would have sounded, anyone listening to this recording can let his imagination run riot as to how it could have been. It goes without saying that the Tacet team have pulled out all the stops with regard to technical matters in order to achieve the best possible analogue sound.

    Vivaldi: The Four Seasons

Presented With Original Artwork And Pressed On 180-Gram Heavyweight Vinyl At Optimal

Eschewing its usual heavy orchestral sound in favor of a more stripped-down instrumentation, Dutch violinist Janine Jansen's second album offers a fresh interpretation of one of the most performed classical works, Vivaldi's The Four Seasons. The 2005 follow-up to her Barry Wordsworth-conducted debut, the subtle but passionate renditions of the La Primavera, L'estate, L'autunno, and L'inverno concertos are performed with a sparse, eight-piece ensemble including Lithuanian violinist Julian Rachlin, her cellist brother Maarten, and harpsichordist father Jan.

Young Croatian cellists Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, together known as 2CELLOS, have achieved sensational success by taking the cello to a new level. Their playing style has broken down the boundaries between different genres of music, from classical and film music to Pop and Rock. 2CELLOS have no limits when it comes to performing live and are equally as impressive when playing Bach and Vivaldi as they are when rocking out AC/DC. Their debut album is a thrilling collection of chart-topping Rock and Pop songs performed in their signature style.

2CELLOS rose to fame in 2011 when their version of Michael Jackson's ''Smooth Criminal'' took the world by storm. The YouTube video became a massive viral sensation leading to a record deal with Sony Masterworks and an invitation to join Sir Elton John on his worldwide tour. The song charted at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Digital Songs Chart and landed the 2CELLOS' debut album in the Top 100.

In addition to many sold out solo tours (US, Japan, Europe) and collaborations with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queens of the Stone Age and George Michael, the duo have also appeared on major TV shows such as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Bachelor and many others. Together with the Chinese classical superstar pianist Lang Lang, they appeared at the CCTV New Year's Gala for more than 1 billion viewers.

In May of 2015, violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter gave a truly unique concert: rather than standing on stage in one of the world's renowned well-tempered grand concert halls, she spent two evenings playing in a tiny graffiti-scrawled nightclub in Berlin. East Meets East

Nigel Kennedy joins forces with the gifted Polish band Kroke to explore the musical roots of Eastern Europe while still injecting his own unique visions. The raw energy and haunting melodies of traditional tunes fascinated old masters such as Vivaldi and Bach, and they fascinate Nigel Kennedy. These aren't just a string of tunes to fill up a recording; they are individual excitements felt by Nigel and shared with you. Vibrant dance material driven almost to a frenzy, 'One Voice' is a simple melody played in turn on three instruments by three musicians of three faiths, 'Lost in Time' a haunting solo piece describing winter living conditions in a quarter of Poland. Again, very real, very personal; Nigel has a home in Poland. The spectacular record is a pure musical landscape capturing all the sunlight and shadows of his life.

    Kindly Now (Awaiting Repress)

Keaton Henson will release his third official studio album, 'Kindly Now', via Play It Again Sam. Having sold out the Roundhouse earlier this year, Keaton has also confirmed plans for his biggest European headline shows to date, including a show at London's Palladium on November 18th.

'Alright' was written in Los Angeles shortly after the release of Henson's acclaimed second album, 'Birthdays'. Struggling with the apparent trade-off of having to put himself on display in order to make the music he loved, 'Alright' describes a very English way of grinning through pain (and also the sense that despite your world shifting so quickly, maybe you haven't changed very much at all). It's a stunning introduction to 'Kindly Now', a record which simultaneously broadens Keaton's canvas - more electronic in places, more classical in others - yet also reflects a life-long love of Randy Newman. 'Kindly Now' is ultimately Keaton Henson's most emotionally stripped-back album thus far, an unheroic and unsettling examination of past loves, the role of the artist, and owning up to your own destruction.

'Kindly Now' continues an extraordinary journey for Keaton Henson, who quietly released his limited edition, hand-made debut album 'Dear ' in 2012, before a surprise Zane Lowe play led to a flurry of investigation into Henson's identity and whereabouts. Despite choosing not to perform or promote his record in a conventional manner, his heavier second album 'Birthdays' saw Keaton make an astonishing return to the live arena: from playing one-on-one for fans, to cinemas, museums and churches internationally. Whilst beginning to write songs for 'Kindly Now', Keaton pushed himself in two extreme directions: first, he taught himself the art of orchestration and arrangement, and surprise-released the critically acclaimed collection of bedroom-classical music, 'Romantic Works', on the same day as his immediately-sold-out date at London's Meltdown Festival (at the request of James Lavelle). Then, having completed 'Kindly Now', Henson pushed the more electronic textures of some of his new songs into 'Behaving', his first album of wholly-electronic music (also staging a DIY, immersive production of Vivaldi's Four Seasons for two-sold out nights at Oval Space, in association with The Barbican).

On top of his work as a worldwide-exhibited visual artist, Keaton has recently released his first poetry collection ('Idiot Verse') and scored the forthcoming Balletboyz' feature-length World-War-One epic 'Young Men' in conjunction with the BBC (originally performed at Sadler's Wells, and resulting in Keaton conducting the BBC Concert Orchestra). This has all - one way or another - fed into 'Kindly Now': an album four years in the making, from an artist of whom all you can expect is the unexpected, but reliably unflinching.

Award-winning violinist Daniel Hope presents an eclectic and accessible mix of neo-Baroque, minimalist and soundtrack favourites, including works and
arrangements by contemporary masters like Ludovico Einaudi, Arvo PÄrt, Karl Jenkins, Max Richter, Gabriel Prokofiev, Alex Baranowski and many more
"Spheres" features a curated collection of repertoire celebrating the idea, first brought forward by Pythagoras, that planetary movement creates its own
kind of music, bringing beauty, harmony and simplicity to our complex solar system. This idea has fascinated philosophers, musicians, and
    mathematicians for centuries.

An album of broad consumer appeal, featuring a number of world premieres, and destined to drive interest in the digital space.

Music of reflection, contemplation and relaxation, this album can sell to admirers of Einaudi, Philip Glass, Karl Jenkins and others, as well as the wider,
    "chill-out" market.

Featured as main soloist on Max Richter's acclaimed "Vivaldi Recomposed", Hope is known for an effortless classical sound and intriguing approach to
